G'DAY

Director, film maker, senior concept artist and action figure (thanks to his days as a pro-wrestler). As we all know, getting punched in the face for a living, while wearing spandex, is the best education for a career in film so Nic, and his wife Amy, packed up their life in Australia and moved to LA.

Nic landed in the USA with nowhere to live, no job, no friends or family to connect with. It was a rough start living in a garage in East LA, but he kept honing his craft and eventually landed gigs working for the likes of Marvel Studios, Disney, Cartoon Network, Warner Brothers, Bento Box, Stoopid Buddy and many more.

Although Nic creates worlds for beloved IP's like Spiderman, Batman, Beavis and Butthead, Mickey and Friends and Harry Potter, it wasn't enough. Even though billions of people have seen his work through, TV, film, publishing, games and theme parks, Nic felt it was time for the public to put a name and face to his art.

Nic now creates contemporary portraits and landscapes exploring the beginning stages of a piece of art, when shapes, color and line work get to express the most life.

Nic Created the award winning short film Suddenly. Which won nearly 50 awards and festival selections across the globe. The short is a metaphor for "life flashes before your eyes" and follows the life of a lightning bolt. It won awards for best animated short, best artwork, best direction and was nominated for writing, music and more! The beautiful music in the film was created by Makana, and the song also appears in the George Clooney film The Descendants.

Team GXL, the tag team and legendary indy pro wrestling stable from Australia (Nic XL AKA Nic Gregory, The Giant Kyote and Minx) are the only indy wrestlers ever to have their wrestling personas get a nod in the Marvel Universe! Thats not the only place you will find members of Team GXL in pop culture. Look closely at Invincible Fight Girl on Cartoon Network, The new Mortal Kombat II movie, Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe, The Noggins from Nickelodeon, the Young Rock TV show and more. You just might spot one of the team!

Most of the major theme parks across the globe have something in common. Nic's stories, artwork and concepts helped shape them all. Step inside Disneyland, Walt DisneyWorld, Disneyland Hong Kong, Universal Epic Universe, Six Flags, Warner Brothers World, Lionsgate Entertainment World and many more and you will find something Nic Gregory has had a hand in creating.

Billions! Thats how many people have seen artwork and stories by Nic Gregory. Whether it be in TV shows like Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, films such as Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe, live shows like the 30th Anniversary of The Little Mermaid at the Hollywood Bowl, theme park attractions such as the Dark Universe in Orlando or countless Disney Publishing kids books across the planet. That is just a few of the things you may have seen his work and stories in!
